What can interns expect in their first year of the residency program?
During the first year of residency, residents will complete 4 week blocks
within internal medicine areas such as, wards, electives, ICU etc. Residents
can also expect to complete 1 week of outpatient medicine following each
4 week ward block. Please refer to our

Will my application be considered early if I submit prior to the cutoff date?
Applications submitted early will be considered strictly on merit basis
and fulfillment of program eligibility requirements.
Does RCH or UCR provide housing?
During the interview process applicants will be responsible for securing
hotel accommodations independently. We will definitely help with locations
and discounted rates. Once an applicant matches to our program, we will
provide them with the resources they need to aid in meeting their housing
and transportation needs. The city of Riverside has many great housing
facilities, beautiful neighborhoods and apartments close to our campus.
What are the criteria for selection to the residency program at RCH?
Complete application submitted to ERAS by the cutoff date and completion

Does your program require previous training or experience in primary care,
internal medicine or family medicine?
Successful completion of medical school within 5 years is required of all
applicants and evidence of continued clinical exposures.
