Why RCH/UCR: The focus on cultivating resiliency while training at a high volume Level 1 trauma center really stood out to me. The attendings, residents and staff are all incredibly supportive, concerned about your wellness and will push you to become an excellent physician.

High volume and acuity, very rewarding to work with this community in need, AMAZING faculty and residents, truly a family feel, most genuine and notable emphasis on resident wellness, PD who really looks out for us and wants us to thrive in residency and beyond, proximity to mountains and beaches, cultural diversity, close to family

Why RCH/UCR: Wide array of pathology with high volume and high acuity which make it a great place to train. Great central location in sunny SoCal. Amazingly supportive and motivating co and senior residents!

Why RCH/UCR: On interview day, all the conversations were thoughtful and authentic. I felt like I'd found my people and was so happy to find out they apparently thought so too. Plus: unopposed program in a high volume/high acuity environment with a strong emphasis on developing your niche in EM.
