Medical Student Rotations

4th year Medical Student Rotations at Riverside Community Hospital provide students the opportunity to learn amidst a diverse population, allowing for a wide range of clinical experiences. Students will receive basic medical knowledge in various clinical areas, and be given the opportunity to attend teaching rounds, and conferences. Students will also have direct contact with attending faculty and be able to work alongside residents in the care of patients, providing an excellent orientation to graduate medical education at Riverside Community Hospital.

Students will have the opportunity to rotate through a number of different departments including:

  • Emergency Medicine
  • Internal Medicine
  • Family Medicine
  • Neurology
  • OB/GYN
  • EM-Ultrasound
  • Surgery

Application Requirements include:

  • Transcripts
  • Immunization records
  • COMLEX and/or USMLE Scores (Step I)
    • A minimium score of 470 on the COMLEX and/or
    • A minimium score of 210 on the USMLE
  • CV or resume
  • Background check
  • Drug Screen
  • Implementation Letter (provided by school)
